Further complementing its transformation journey towards becoming a human-centred TechCo, TM is pleased to announce the launch of its new HQ and campus in conjunction with its Hari Raya event for employees.

 

Located in Cyberjaya, TM Campus marks a significant milestone for TM as it represents the company's commitment to creating an innovative space that drives agility, flexibility and efficiency through digital collaboration and hybrid work environment. TM is set to drive higher productivity while instilling a sense of pride among Warga TM through a stimulating work environment and a hybrid policy of three (3) days at the office and two (2) days working from anywhere.

 

The campus houses not only the new TM HQ, but also TM Innovation Hub, TM Network Intelligence Centre and TM Core Data Centre. The campus provides open office spaces, technology infrastructure and digital tools, as well as dedicated areas for collaboration, empowering employees to deliver innovative solutions for customers. It also features a sustainable eco-friendly design with green spaces and an abundance of natural light to create a healthy and inspiring workspace atmosphere that employees can be proud of.

 

TM Campus was officially launched today by Dato’ Imri Mokhtar, Group Chief Executive Officer, witnessed by the senior leadership team and Warga TM.

 

“We are thrilled to launch the new campus as it is a testament of our commitment to propel innovation among our employees, customers and partners. The campus features an open space concept, equipped with advanced technology infrastructure to facilitate Warga TM to co-create digital platforms and smart solutions,” said Dato’ Imri.

 

“We are changing our way of working and this campus will be the catalyst. Complemented by the use of various technologies and digital tools such as robotics process automation (RPA), artificial intelligence (AI), analytics and remote working tools, it will bring out the best of our people, while enhancing their well-being at the same time,” he further added.

 

To support this evolution, TM provides various on-demand learning platforms and technology training opportunities to complement its commitment towards human-centred innovation. "With the spirit of collaboration and mutual exchange of ideas, we will continue to develop ourselves for the benefit of our customers and other stakeholders," Dato’ Imri concluded.

 

This is also in line with TM’s new brand promise, ‘Your Next is Now’, which demonstrates how technology is harnessed to empower people to drive change, enabling them to realise their aspirations, whether to scale big ideas, build new businesses, or take better care of the planet.

 

Some of these innovations were also showcased by TM during the launch event. TM Digital Workplace features the benefits of a hybrid work environment, On-demand Learning and Professional Development Platforms and Employees Self-Service, for greater efficiency among Warga TM. For our customers, TM One Smart Solutions showcase features Smart Healthcare, Smart Industries & Analytics, and Smart City.

 

This is a significant moment for the Group, and it marks a new chapter in its journey towards becoming a human-centred TechCo that creates value for its stakeholders. TM Strengthens National Talent Pipeline with RM25 Million through Yayasan TM Future Leaders Scholarships 2025

KUALA LUMPUR, 11 August 2025 – Telekom Malaysia Berhad (“TM” or “the Group”), through its foundation arm Yayasan TM (YTM), has awarded RM25 million in scholarships under the Yayasan TM Future Leaders Scholarship 2025, reaffirming the Group’s steadfast commitment to nurturing talent, supporting education and nation building. The scholarships will support students pursuing strategic fields including Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science and Analytical Economics at TM’s wholly owned Multimedia University (MMU), local public universities (IPTA), as well as leading institutions in the United Kingdom, Australia, Japan, and Singapore. Amar Huzaimi Md Deris, Group Chief Executive Officer of TM and Deputy Chairman of Yayasan TM said, “At TM, we are committed to exemplifying how success and greater purpose can go hand in hand, as demonstrated by the positive impact we create for our communities and the nation. Through this scholarship, we are enabling the next generation of leaders who will drive innovation, create meaningful change, and empower Malaysia’s digital future. We are proud to support their journey as we move together towards our aspiration of becoming a Digital Powerhouse by 2030.” The 2025 scholarship cycle for Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) leavers attracted more than 10,300 applications nationwide, a reflection of the programme’s growing reach and reputation. Applicants went through a rigorous, transparent selection process which included stringent academic screening, online aptitude and competency tests, and final interviews conducted by Behavioural Event Interview (BEI)-certified panels. The recipients were celebrated at a presentation ceremony held recently at Dewan Tun Canselor, Multimedia University (MMU), Cyberjaya, attended by esteemed parents, TM and MMU leaders, and a representative from the Ministry of Higher Education. Ainol Shaharina Sahar, Director of Yayasan TM remarked, “We are proud to welcome these bright young minds into the YTM family. Beyond financial sponsorship, the Future Leaders recipients will also embark on a comprehensive, end-to-end development programme designed to shape holistic and well-rounded individuals, while equipping them with future-ready skills, both in digital proficiency and employability. We believe these young talents will go on to lead, inspire, and make a meaningful difference for Malaysia’s future.” Since its inception in 1994, Yayasan TM has supported more than 18,000 students through various education initiatives, with total investments of more than RM650 million to date. TM NXERA SECURES 280MW TO POWER AI-READY, GREEN DATA CENTRE CAMPUS IN JOHOR

Kuala Lumpur / Singapore, 12 January 2026 – TM Nxera, the joint venture between Telekom Malaysia (TM) and Nxera, Singtel’s regional data centre arm, has signed a multi-year electricity supply agreement with Tenaga Nasional (TNB). This agreement secures 280MW of power for TM Nxera’s upcoming state-of-the-art, hyperconnected, AI-ready data centre campus in Iskandar Puteri, Johor, which is scheduled to begin the first phase of commercial operations in 2026.Marking this milestone, senior leaders from TM, TM Nxera and TNB came together for a document exchange ceremony in Kuala Lumpur, underscoring the strategic partnership to support the development of TM Nxera’s data centre. TM was represented by Amar Huzaimi Md Deris, Group Chief Executive Officer, and Khairul Liza Ibrahim, Executive Vice President, TM Global, alongside TM Nxera representatives Bill Chang, Chairman; Mahathir bin Said, Chief Executive Officer; and Benedict Kwok, Chief Operating Officer. TNB was represented by Datuk Ir. Megat Jalaluddin Bin Megat Hassan, Chief Executive Officer, and Datuk Kamal Arifin Bin A. Designed to support large-scale AI workloads with scalable capacity of more than 200MW, the facility will serve as a cornerstone of the country’s digital infrastructure, supporting hyperscalers, AI application providers and enterprises to accelerate digital transformation and cloud adoption across the region.The data centre campus will feature advanced liquid cooling technologies to support large-scale AI deployment and deliver exceptional performance efficiency. It is designed to meet Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) standards, integrating energy and water-efficient technologies to maximise resource efficiency. Enterprises and hyperscalers will gain cost-effective access to green and secure infrastructure, without having to build and manage their own facilities. Connectivity for the data centre campus will be backed by TM and Singtel Group’s Digital InfraCo subsea cable networks, ensuring robust global reach and low latency network performance. Together, these capabilities will create one of the most advanced digital infrastructure platforms in Southeast Asia, powering the next wave of AI innovation, cloud adoption and industrial growth. 

TM ONE & SIRIM ACADEMY PARTNERSHIP BOOSTS CYBERSECURITY AND AI GOVERNANCE IN MALAYSIA

KUALA LUMPUR, 6 November 2025 – TM One, TM’s enterprise and government sector solutions arm, has signed a strategic Collaboration Agreement with SIRIM Academy, a subsidiary of SIRIM Berhad, to advance Malaysia’s capabilities in information security, artificial intelligence (AI) governance, and workforce certification. The partnership combines TM One’s expertise in cybersecurity and managed services with SIRIM Academy’s recognised strengths in training, consultancy, standards development and personnel certification. Together, the two organisations will support enterprises and government agencies in closing compliance gaps, adopting global best practices, and building resilience in the digital economy. The collaboration focuses on certification and workforce readiness, supporting organisations to comply with Information Security Management Systems (ISMS, ISO/IEC 27001) and the newly introduced AI Management System (ISO/IEC 42001:2023). TM One will provide operational security capabilities for monitoring and incident response, while SIRIM Academy will deliver professional certification programmes aligning with standards requirements and national frameworks. To ensure compliance, organisations can further leverage TM One’s Managed Security Services including its Security Operations Centre (SOC), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Managed Detection and Response (MDR), and Threat Intelligence, which offers continuous protection. The agreement also facilitates joint go-to-market opportunities, with TM One or SIRIM Academy leading client engagements as needed. The collaboration was formally made through an exchange of documents between Shanti Jusnita Johari, TM One’s Executive Vice President, and Dr. Mohd Bakri bin Jali, SIRIM Academy’s Chief Executive Officer (Covering), symbolising the start of a shared commitment to advance Malaysia’s digital trust and governance. Shanti Jusnita Johari said, “This partnership with SIRIM Academy reaffirms TM One’s position as a trusted digital enabler for enterprises and government. By embedding training, consultation and certification into our secure digital infrastructure, we ensure compliance is not only achieved on paper but sustained in practice.
