KUALA LUMPUR, 24 November 2025 – Telekom Malaysia Berhad (“TM” or “The Group”) today announced its financial results for the first nine months of 2025 ended 30 September 2025 (YTD 2025), recording a Profit After Tax and Non-Controlling Interests (PATAMI) of RM1.49 billion, up compared to the same period last year. At the same time, the Group registered PATAMI of RM686.3 million in Q3 2025 compared to RM465.1 million in Q3 2024. The higher PATAMI reflects the Group’s execution discipline, coupled with one-off items recognised during the quarter.
Group revenue grew 2.6% to RM2.99 billion in Q3 2025 compared to corresponding quarter last year, with Earnings before Interest and Tax (EBIT) rose 12.9%, to RM619.8 million, reflecting improved product and services margin, productivity gains and disciplined cost management.

The improved performance reflects our consistent focus on execution discipline and commitment towards value creation. We are executing our strategy with vigour, solidifying our core business, scaling up our sovereign data centre and cloud infrastructure for growth, while embedding AI across our operations to drive long-term competitive advantage.
As we move into the final quarter, our priority is to ensure growth in profitability whilst continue to invest strategically in future-ready infrastructure that will catalyse the nation’s digital economy, driving inclusivity for all. This is in line with our aspiration of becoming a Digital Powerhouse by 2030 while positioning Malaysia as the digital hub for ASEAN,” Amar added.
Revenue-generating Investments and Value Creation
Capital expenditure stood at 14.9% of revenue, within the Group’s full-year guidance, reflecting disciplined execution in strategic investments. The expansion of its data centres in the Klang Valley and Iskandar Puteri has progressed into operational phase with 20 MW additional capacity now available, reinforcing Malaysia’s position as a regional hub for hyperscalers and cloud service providers.
Together with improved asset utilisation and earnings performance, these disciplined investments have translated into the highest Return on Invested Capital (ROIC) to date of 13.5%. The improved ROIC has contributed positively towards value creation for all stakeholders. Overall, TM maintains a positive outlook for the remainder of 2025.

Enabling greater digital inclusivity for Malaysians through Pakej Perpaduan Jalur Lebar Tetap
Following Minister of Communications and Digital, YB Fahmi Fadzil’s announcement on the Pakej Perpaduan Jalur Lebar Tetap (Fixed Internet Broadband) yesterday, Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) is committed to support the Government’s aim to bring hyperconnectivity to key target communities. Focusing on segments most in need particularly B40, the elderly, OKU, army-police veterans, the delivery of Pakej Perpaduan Jalur Lebar Tetap aligns with TM’s aspiration to empower a Digital Malaysia and meet the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), particularly to promote inclusive and sustainable digital industrialization and innovation (Goal 9), as well as to reduce inequalities and empower social and economic inclusion for all (Goal 10). As a responsible corporate organisation, TM has a social accountability to making a positive impact for the community. TM AND SINGTEL’S NXERA BREAK GROUND FOR SUSTAINABLE, HYPER-CONNECTED DATA CENTRE CAMPUS IN JOHOR
ISKANDAR PUTERI, 25 JULY 2024 – TM and Nxera, the regional data centre arm of Singtel’s Digital InfraCo unit, held a groundbreaking ceremony for their data centre campus in Iskandar Puteri, Johor. The groundbreaking comes one month after the announcement for a joint venture to develop data centres in Malaysia and uplift Johor’s digital hub status. This 64MW state-of-the-art, sustainable, hyper-connected, AI-ready data centre campus reinforces Malaysia’s high quality digital infrastructure. It also supports the government's efforts to drive the digital economy and transform the country into a hub for industrial growth, AI development and innovation. Malaysia's Digital Minister YB Gobind Singh Deo; YB Lee Ting Han, Chairman, Johor State Investment, Trade, Consumer Affairs and Human Resources Committee; and Singapore's Senior Minister of State for Trade and Industry and Culture, Community and Youth Low Yen Ling graced the groundbreaking event as the Guests-of-Honour. This underscores the joint venture's commitment to long-term sustainability goals. To support the new data centre campus, the joint venture plans to expand submarine cable connectivity, enabling a thriving and vibrant digital ecosystem. Located just 16 km from Singapore, the data centre campus will allow customers to seamlessly expand their infrastructure from the city state and the rest of the region. Further, the data centre can be scaled up to 200MW in response to market demand. In addition, apart from creation of new employment opportunities that is important for nation building, the joint venture will invest in building talent for the data centre industry by fostering collaborations between universities in Singapore and Malaysia. It aims to design comprehensive courses with specialised curriculum to provide students with well-rounded knowledge and the requisite skills to propel Malaysia’s growth aspirations. For communities and the region, this means superior country-to-country connectivity and a smarter, more resilient digital economy. As announced in Bursa, this joint venture is conditional upon receiving approval from TM shareholders in the upcoming EGM.
