UNIFI TV LAUNCHES ALL-NEW ANEKA PLUS PACK WITH VIDIO, ONE OF SEA’S TOP 3 STREAMING APPS
KUALA LUMPUR, 13 SEPTEMBER 2024 – Unifi TV, Malaysia’s largest platform of premier channels and streaming apps, relaunched its popular Aneka Plus Pack, now bundled with Vidio, Indonesia’s number one streaming app which is also among Southeast Asia’s (SEA) top three platforms.
Being the only streaming platform to reach more than 4 million subscribers in Indonesia alone, Vidio’s extensive library of Indonesian content is anticipated to resonate well with Malaysian viewers. Its comprehensive offerings include Vidio Original series Gelas Kaca, Ratu Adil and Santri Pilihan Bunda featuring cast such as Aura Kasih, Dian Sastrowardoyo, Naura Ayu and many more.

Vidio is available via the new Aneka Plus Pack, which also includes more than 20 premium channels and three streaming apps for only RM30 a month. An a la carte option is also available to new and existing Unifi subscribers (with and without TV Packs) from only RM8.40 a month. Customers can also enjoy a one-month complimentary viewing from now until 24 September 2024 with the Vidio a la carte subscription.

TM collaborates with Malaysia telecommunications tower providers for access to tower sites facilities
The strategic collaboration affirms TM’s commitment and readiness to drive Malaysia’s Digital Economy aspirations as the national digital infrastructure accelerator Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) marked another milestone as the national connectivity and digital infrastructure provider when its wholesale domestic and international business arm, TM WHOLESALE, entered into a collaboration with nine (9) tower providers (TowerCos), enabling access to tower sites facilities. The nine (9) TowerCos are the members of Persatuan Penyedia Infrastruktur Telekomunikasi (PPIT), namely D'Harmoni Telco Infra Sdn Bhd, Melaka ICT Holdings Sdn Bhd, Perlis Comm Sdn Bhd, Infra Quest Sdn Bhd, Perak Integrated Network Services Sdn Bhd, EdgePoint Towers Sdn Bhd, PDC Telecommunication Services Sdn Bhd, Desabina Industries Sdn Bhd and Yiked Bina Sdn Bhd. The ceremony was held recently in Johor Bahru attended by TM and nine (9) other TowerCos. unifi offers subsidised mobile internet plans through Jaringan Prihatin Programme
Introduces unifi Mobile 39 postpaid plan, now priced at only RM24 (exclusive of SST) per month with RM15 monthly subsidy from the Government In support of the Jaringan Prihatin programme announced by the Government through the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC), unifi is offering unifi Mobile 39 postpaid plan and unifi #BEBAS prepaid plan to Malaysians who are eligible for Bantuan Prihatin Rakyat ("BPR"). Understanding the need for fast and efficient data, especially when many need to stay connected constantly in the current digital age, unifi is offering these mobile plans designed to give more value in the form of FREE mobile data to its customers for 12 months. The postpaid plan; unifi Mobile 39, is now priced at only RM24 (exclusive of SST) per month with a RM15 monthly subsidy from the Government. The plan also comes with a whopping additional 30GB LTE data per month on top of the existing 5GB of data quota. Meanwhile, the unifi #BEBAS prepaid starter plan priced at RM10 comes with a 2GB data quota monthly and free 1GB LTE data daily.
