YAYASAN TM’s ‘PROGRAM CAHAYA RAMADAN’ CONTINUES TO BRING JOY TO THE LESS FORTUNATE COMMUNITIES
KUALA LUMPUR, 22 March 2024 – TM, through its social foundation arm, Yayasan TM (YTM),
announces the continuation of its ‘Program Cahaya Ramadan’. This year, the programme
allocates RM320,000 to aid approximately 3,000 beneficiaries across Malaysia, including asnaf,
orphans, B40 families, single mothers, Persons with Disabilities (PWD), tahfiz students, and the
Orang Asli community.
The initiative, mobilised through our state offices nationwide, focuses on distributing food
baskets and raya essential items such as baju raya and duit raya (cash) to the identified
beneficiaries during Ramadan.
Ainol Shaharina Sahar, Director of Yayasan TM said, “It is our honour to once again initiate the
‘Program Cahaya Ramadan’, extending our hand in solidarity to those in need during this
reflective and benevolent time of year. Our goal is to alleviate the hardships of our beneficiaries,
ensuring they too can share in the joy and togetherness that Ramadan brings. We aim to foster
a sense of community and hope, particularly among children, as they observe the sacred month
and look forward to Eid ul-Fitr celebrations.”
In addition to these efforts, YTM is launching the ‘Dana Kasih Yayasan TM’ fundraising
campaign, aiming to raise RM30,000 to specifically assist Orang Asli families in Pos Kuala Mu,
Sungai Siput, Perak. This campaign focuses on gathering funds to provide these families with
essential food supplies for Ramadan, aiming to ensure they have the resources needed for a
fulfilling festive period. The public is encouraged to support this noble cause by making donations

In 2023, YTM’s ‘Program Cahaya Ramadan’ has benefitted more than 3,000 beneficiaries
through over 20 programmes across the country. YTM collaborated with Pejabat Ahli Parlimen
Lembah Pantai to organise the programme which was attended by its Member of Parliament,
YB Fahmi Fadzil.
As the programme continues to grow and reach more communities, YTM remains dedicated to
nurturing hope, fostering solidarity, and creating lasting impacts in the lives of the underserved,
reinforcing its goal of a more inclusive and supportive society.

TM NXERA SECURES 280MW TO POWER AI-READY, GREEN DATA CENTRE CAMPUS IN JOHOR
Kuala Lumpur / Singapore, 12 January 2026 – TM Nxera, the joint venture between Telekom Malaysia (TM) and Nxera, Singtel’s regional data centre arm, has signed a multi-year electricity supply agreement with Tenaga Nasional (TNB). This agreement secures 280MW of power for TM Nxera’s upcoming state-of-the-art, hyperconnected, AI-ready data centre campus in Iskandar Puteri, Johor, which is scheduled to begin the first phase of commercial operations in 2026.Marking this milestone, senior leaders from TM, TM Nxera and TNB came together for a document exchange ceremony in Kuala Lumpur, underscoring the strategic partnership to support the development of TM Nxera’s data centre. TM was represented by Amar Huzaimi Md Deris, Group Chief Executive Officer, and Khairul Liza Ibrahim, Executive Vice President, TM Global, alongside TM Nxera representatives Bill Chang, Chairman; Mahathir bin Said, Chief Executive Officer; and Benedict Kwok, Chief Operating Officer. TM Q2 NET PROFIT RISES 1.7%, DECLARES 12.5 SEN INTERIM DIVIDEND
KUALA LUMPUR, 29 August 2025 – Telekom Malaysia Berhad (“TM” or “The Group”) today announced its financial results for the second quarter ended 30 June 2025 (2Q 2025), reflecting resilience in a competitive market and continued progress on its strategic priorities. During the quarter, Profit After Tax and Non-Controlling Interests (PATAMI) rose 1.7% compared to corresponding quarter last year to RM403.0 million, while Earnings before Interest and Tax (EBIT) grew 4.5% to RM640.0 million. For the first half of 2025 (1H 2025), revenue stood at RM5.62 billion versus RM5.74 billion a year earlier, as a result of intensely competitive market. Meanwhile, the Group registered EBIT of RM1.19 billion, down 5.8% compared to corresponding period last year, mainly due to forex losses. Adjusting for these, underlying EBIT recorded growth, underscoring TM’s strong fundamentals, core operations and cost discipline in delivering profit despite revenue pressures. The Group continues to demonstrate its focus towards value creation and disciplined capital management, as reflected in the improvement of Return on Invested Capital (ROIC) to 12.81% from 12.34% a year ago. TM maintains a positive outlook for the year and is confident in meeting its 2025 guidance. The Board has declared an interim dividend of 12.5 sen per share, amounting to RM479.7 million for the financial year 2025, reaffirming its commitment to delivering sustainable returns to shareholders. 1H 2025 Segment Highlights Business to Consumer (B2C): Unifi registered steady revenue performance and an increase in fixed broadband subscribers driven by Unifi UniVerse convergence offerings, fuelled by content and mobile take up. Its diverse range of device bundles continued to attract strong demands from various segments. Meanwhile, as the preferred partner to more than 400,000 MSMEs nationwide, Unifi Business segment remained a key driver, with tailored digital solutions that promote digital inclusivity. Business to Business (B2B): TM One revenue was softer as several major projects and sizeable deals are expected to be completed in the second half of the year. Nevertheless, beyond connectivity services such as cloud and ICT recorded steady growth. Carrier to Carrier (C2C): TM Global remains well-positioned, with a strong pipeline of large-scale border-to-border bandwidth requirements expected to be delivered by year-end. On the domestic front, the segment is on track with its data centre expansions and the delivery of 5G mobile backhaul in support of the national 5G agenda. Investing for Future Growth TM continues to strengthen its long-term position through strategic investments in digital technologies, encompassing AI infrastructure and applications, data centres, edge facilities, expanded fibre coverage, 5G mobile backhaul and submarine cable systems. “Digital infrastructure and AI are no longer just a vision for TM. It’s becoming a reality, from the establishment of data centres, sovereign cloud and GPU-as-a-Service to various enterprise applications that continuously help businesses to unlock digital capabilities and growth,” said Amar Huzaimi Md Deris, Group Chief Executive Officer, TM. “Equally important is ensuring digital inclusivity for all communities and businesses, while nurturing the right talent to power Malaysia’s digital future. Through our inaugural Jangkau Digital programme, we are reimagining Kampung Mukut in Pulau Tioman as the nation’s first Smart Eco-Village. At the same time, the launch of Malaysia’s first Faculty of Artificial Intelligence and Engineering at our education arm, Multimedia University, is a clear testament to this commitment. TM-Fiberhome launch innovation lab, emphasising value creation and human capital development
CYBERJAYA, 17 November 2023 - TM, Malaysia’s leading converged telco and technology company, and FiberHome Telecommunication Technologies Co., Ltd. (FiberHome), a global networking and telecommunication equipment provider based in China, have launched their innovation lab under the latest joint strategic partnership programme. The collaboration extends across Research & Innovation, Co-creation & Commercialisation, and Human Capital development. Today marks a significant milestone with the establishment of the TMDA-FiberHome Innovation Lab, which aims to capitalise on the capabilities of both organisations. The lab will serve as a hub for advanced research opportunities, product showcases and the latest technology demonstrations, providing a valuable reference and benchmark for industry advancements. The launching ceremony was officiated by Dato’ Zainal Abidin Putih, Chairman of TM and Mr. Lu Guoqing, Chairman of China Information and Communication Technologies Group Corporation (CICT), FiberHome’s parent company. The strategic partnership programme between TM and FiberHome began in 2015 through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding, subsequently renewed in 2021. Its collaboration with Multimedia University (MMU) resulted in the establishment of the Industry Talents Development Programme called iCadet, providing scholarship opportunities under Yayasan Universiti Multimedia (YUM) and local development via transfer of technology with Bumiputera vendors. Building upon this initiative and in alignment with TM’s transformation journey into a human-centred TechCo, the collaboration now seeks to further enhance TM's digital talent ecosystem. This includes best practices in talent competency, the development of professional competency framework, technical training and certifications for digital transformation, and cross-border knowledge sharing on new technologies.
