TM extends ‘JASA Pack’ unifi mobile plan to all PDRM officers & staff to support their digital lifestyle
A specially priced unifi Mobile ‘JASA’ offers unlimited calls, data and SMS available for subscription starting today
As the one and only brand in Malaysia that offers a truly converged broadband services to Malaysians nationwide, Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) today reiterates its appreciation for the contributions of Polis DiRaja Malaysia (PDRM) to the nation with the extension of its unifi Mobile ‘JASA’ Pack to all PDRM officers and staff.
The specially priced unifi Mobile plan was launched by Datuk Bazlan Osman, Acting Group Chief Executive Officer, TM and Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Mohamad Fuzi Harun, the Inspector General of Police. Also present were other police officers and PDRM staff of various ranks.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Datuk Bazlan said, “We are happy to further extend our unifi Mobile ‘JASA’ Pack plan, a specially priced plan now available for all PDRM officers across all ranks. The offering of this special package is to appreciate their sacrifices for and contributions towards the country and a reflection of our unwavering support towards uniformed bodies such as PDRM. For the past 21 years, TM is the main supporter for ‘Ops Selamat’ road and home safety campaign in reducing the road mishaps rate and to increase awareness on home safety and driving safety during festive season. The unifi Mobile ‘JASA’ Pack is available to all PDRM officers and staff who are existing or new unifi and Streamyx subscribers. Specially priced at only RM59 per month, unifi Mobile ‘JASA’ Pack can be subscribed at all TMpoint outlets nationwide and subscribers can enjoy unlimited data, calls and SMS with no contract. The plan can be subscribed with a new mobile number or by maintaining the existing mobile number via port in. The unifi Mobile ‘JASA’ pack special promotion for PDRM officers is available for subscription until 31 March 2019 and a PDRM staff ID will be required as verification document during the registration process.
Initially, earlier this year, TM launched the similar package of unifi Mobile ‘JASA Pack’ plan for teachers and officers under the Ministry of Education.

TMpoint Kajang reports one (1) new positive Covid-19 case
Safety protocols activated – outlet closed for sanitisation till 27 December 2020 Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) wishes to confirm one (1) new positive case of COVID-19 amongst its employees at TMpoint Kajang on 13 December 2020. The employee is currently receiving treatment at a Government hospital. Following the confirmed case, TM has taken immediate action to close its TMpoint Kajang until 27 December 2020 for disinfection and sanitisation in accordance to the guidelines set by the Ministry of Health (MoH). Meanwhile, other TMpoint outlets remain in operations in adherence to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as well as TM’s added safety guidelines to ensure our customers continue to be served. TM management and staff are together praying for the speedy recovery of all those affected by the pandemic. Meanwhile, detailed contact tracing is being carried out by the MoH, assisted by TM’s COVID-19 Crisis Response Team (CRT), to identify and inform those whom had close contact with the positive case. Identified close contacts are being contacted by MoH for further advice and action. TM would like to remind everyone at all times to stay safe – practice social distancing, maintain personal hygiene and adhere to the SOPs as advised by the Government. TM would like to reiterate that it has taken and will continue to take all necessary measures to ensure the health and safety of its customers, employees and community.

New Solutions Set to Elevate Internet Experience of Malaysians On the back of the recent announcement to further increase the overall coverage and internet quality of the nation, unifi, the premier Convergence brand under Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM), today brings another #khabarbaik to its Streamyx customers. At the event, unifi unveiled unifi Air - its latest wireless high-speed broadband service - as one of many solutions to elevate the internet experience of existing Streamyx customers who reside in its LTE coverage areas. Meanwhile, existing Streamyx customers who are eagerly waiting to experience higher broadband speed will be migrated to unifi Lite starting September 2019. The myunifi app is now available for free and downloadable via Google PlayStore and Apple AppStore TM through unifi, has completed its internet upgrade programme in April 2019 with 973,000 unifi customers upgraded to 10 times the existing speed; 266,000 Streamyx customers in unifi coverage areas upgraded to unifi and 226,000 Streamyx customers in non-unifi coverage areas upgraded to 2 times existing speed where technology permits. unifi remains committed to address the copper network challenges via various technologies such as fibre, wireless and GigaWire in a network rollout which will involve a phased customer migration starting today until 2021.
