KUALA LUMPUR, 13 September 2025 – Unifi TV today launched its refreshed streaming platform and app, giving Malaysians an unprecedented 30 days of complimentary access to 15 streaming services, including Disney+ Hotstar, HBO Max, Viu, TVB Jade, SPOTV and beIN SPORTS and over 70 premium channels.

For the first time, the Unifi TV app is open to everyone, not just Unifi broadband customers, and all subscriptions are contract-free with cancel-anytime flexibility.

 

30 Days Free: Try It First

To celebrate the launch of the new platform, Unifi TV is offering 30 days of complimentary access to 15 streaming apps including Disney+ Hotstar, HBO Max, Viu, Iqiyi and 73 premium channels, exclusive to Unifi customers. For non-Unifi customers, they can also enjoy the 30 days free access to 19 premium channels.

 

Freedom to Pick and Mix

Unlike traditional fixed packs, the new Unifi TV platform allows Malaysians to choose any combination of channels and streaming services they prefer, whether standalone, bundled, or all-in-one. Among the packs offered are;

  • Build-Your-Own Pack – select only the channels and apps you want.
  • Curated Packs – themed selections such as Wira, Ying Xiong, Veeran and Kids, designed for households.
  • Super Star Pack – an all-inclusive bundle with every major streaming app and premium channel.

 

Personalised, All-in-One Experience

The refreshed app features a single home screen with personalised recommendations and watchlists drawn from across all subscribed services, plus a universal search that makes it easy to find any title instantly. Viewers no longer need to jump between apps, everything sits neatly in one interface, with instant sync across TV boxes, smartphones, tablets and smart TVs for a seamless experience.

 

Open to Everyone from as low as RM8 per month, No Contracts

Unifi TV is now accessible to all Malaysians, whether or not they have the Unifi broadband or mobile plans. With plans starting from just RM8/month, Malaysians can enjoy premium streaming at affordable rates, with even better pricing for Unifi customers.

TM Activates Relief Measures for Customers and Communities Affected by Putra Heights Fire Incident

Kuala Lumpur, 4 April 2025 – Telekom Malaysia Berhad (“TM” or “the Group”) expresses its deepest sympathies to all individuals and families affected by the recent fire incident caused by a pipeline burst in Putra Heights. TM’s technical teams are ready and committed to immediately restore services and rebuild any affected network infrastructure in stages, based on the severity of the damage. Restoration work will commence as soon as clearance is granted by BOMBA and the relevant authorities. At the same time, the Group is rolling out a series of immediate relief and recovery measures to support impacted customers and the Putra Heights community, including: Waiver of Unifi Home bills for a minimum of one month, depending on the progress of network restoration, to ease the financial burden on affected customers. Credit term extension to 60 days with no service suspension. Free replacement of Customer Premise Equipment (CPE) such as routers, modems, or mesh devices that may have been damaged. Free on-site support (OSS) and standard internal wiring. Priority assistance for Unifi Home and SME customers via our customer support line at 100. Complimentary WiFi at the temporary evacuation centres (PPS) to ensure uninterrupted communication and continued access to essential services. Additionally, Yayasan TM, the Group’s social impact foundation, will be extending humanitarian aid and providing essential supplies to affected families through the GLC Demi Rakyat & Negara (GDRN) collective efforts. TM brings unifi customers to Old Trafford!

8 lucky unifi customers experienced an all-expenses paid trip to Old Trafford unifi, the premier Convergence brand under Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM), recently flew eight (8) lucky winners of its ‘unifi Flyaway to Manchester United’ campaign for a dream trip to London and Manchester, United Kingdom. The lucky customers were selected among customers who are subscribing to 100Mbps unifi packages with highest subscriptions of Value Added Services (VAS) and good payment track records. Each walked away with a five (5) days four (4) nights all-expenses-paid trip for two (2) persons to watch the football match between Manchester United (MU) and Arsenal at Old Trafford, Manchester.
